Who am I?
I'm Anna D'Anna and I have been teaching fitness for 18 years. I came into this field after having my only child and leaving the corporate world in NYC. I wanted a career that I could work around staying home with my son. In doing this, I have found a love for fitness and in helping others achieve their goals.
In my 18 years, I have grown from a step instructor to a USAT certified triathlon coach. I continually educate myself so I can educate my clients and members of my class. I ask that they take on new challenges to “shock their bodies” and achieve new goals. Everything is possible with the right training plan!
What is my passion?
Giving back is very important to me. Each year, I participate in a two-day MS bike ride of over 160 miles. A close friend and I have trained hundreds of cyclists to ride. We have donated well over $250,000 to the MS organization.
In 2007, along with some fellow athletes, I started an all-women's training group called Racey Women. It is a group where women can train together and/or race together. It is for all levels and ages and for every sport. Many of our activities revolve around charities. Our website is www.raceywomen.com.
What lies ahead?
Each July, I lead an 8-week group training program for beginner women athletes who want to participate in a triathlon. We meet twice a week as a team. It’s an incredible experience for all of us (me included)!
I am always looking at new ways to challenge my body and to inspire others to join me.
I hope to inspire you………
